Job Description

A Penetration Tester, also known as an ethical hacker, plays a vital role in safeguarding an organization's cyber defenses by identifying and exploiting security vulnerabilities within its computer systems, networks, and applications. Employing various security assessment techniques, the Penetration Tester simulates attacks to uncover issues that a malicious attacker could exploit. By assessing the strength of the organization's security infrastructure and providing actionable insights, they help in strengthening the overall security posture. This role requires a deep understanding of network security, cryptography, and ethical hacking methodologies. Responsibilities

• Analyze penetration test outcomes and offer recommendations to improve the system security.
• Utilize automated tools and techniques to identify weaknesses in digital infrastructures.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and government regulations related to cybersecurity.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proficient in penetration testing tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, operating systems, and security architectures.
• Demonstrated experience in network and application vulnerability assessments.
• Relevant certifications such as CEH, OSCP, or CISSP are highly desirable.
• Excellent analytical skills and a creative approach to problem-solving complex security issues.
