Performance QA Engineer

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Performance Tests using LoadRunner or Jmeter.
• Creating and maintaining Performance Automations using Jenkins.
• Analyze performance test Results and Present the results to relevant stake holders.
• Analyze the Performance issues and provide recommendations to Dev team.
• Monitor the application under test during the Test Executions. Creating performance monitoring dashboards using any APM tools like Datadog, AppD, Grafana etc.
• Test new versions for performance regressions.
• Creating Performance Test Plan as per the NFRs.
• Working closely with developers, architects, QA and DevOps.

Skills Required:

• At least 6 years of experience in performance engineering.
• At least 3 experience in performance testing with LoadRunner/Jmeter (especially with Web, TruClient and Java over HTTP protocols).
• Proven experience in developing load test scripts/scenarios, system monitoring, detecting problems and analyzing/validating execution results.
• Strong skills in identifying, diagnosing, and solving compound performance issues as well as providing detailed technical analysis.
• Knowledge of scripting and/or programming languages (Java -preferred, JavaScript, Python, Perl).
• Experience working with cloud products and Knowledge in Cloud architecture (AWS and/or Azure).
• Knowledge and experience of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, EKS).
• Excellent Linux knowledge with proven experience in both OS commands and machine monitoring.
• Familiarity with application performance monitoring - Grafana, Prometheus, ELK, Datadog or similar.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Very independent, self-managed, task leading capabilities, team player, pleasant to work with.

Advantages:

• Understanding of Microservices architecture.
• Experience with VMware.
• Experience with Selenium.
• Good network knowledge

Education: BTech in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
