About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled and proactive Performance Testing Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in performance testing and application monitoring. The candidate should have strong expertise in scripting and executing load tests using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or Neo Load, as well as familiarity with Application Performance Monitoring (APM) tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, or Dynatrace. This role requires effective communication and collaboration with offshore teams to ensure seamless testing and issue resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute performance test scripts using tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, or NeoLoad.
• Define and validate performance test scenarios based on system architecture and business requirements.
• Analyze test results, identify bottlenecks, and provide tuning recommendations.
• Utilize APM tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Wily) to monitor application performance and diagnose issues.
• Collaborate with development, DevOps, and QA teams to interpret findings and drive performance improvements.
• Participate in test planning, workload modeling, test execution, and reporting.
• Ensure test environments are properly configured and performance data is accurately captured.
• Communicate effectively with offshore development teams to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and report findings.
• Document test approaches, results, and performance issues in a clear and concise manner.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5–8 years of hands-on experience in performance testing and engineering.
• Strong scripting skills using JMeter or equivalent load testing tools (LoadRunner, NeoLoad).
• Experience in APM tools such as New Relic, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, or Wily for monitoring application metrics.
• Ability to analyze performance metrics and pinpoint application, infrastructure, or database-level issues.
• Solid understanding of client-server architecture, web technologies, APIs, and performance tuning principles.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to collaborate effectively with offshore teams.
• Proficient in test result interpretation and reporting to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI/CD tools and integration of performance testing in the pipeline.
• Familiarity with cloud-based testing and scalable load simulation.
• ISTQB Performance Testing or similar certification (optional but preferred).
