About The Role

We're seeking a skilled Performance Test Engineer to join our team. As a Performance Test Engineer, you'll design, develop, and execute performance tests to ensure high-quality embedded systems that meet performance, scalability, and reliability requirements.

What You Will Do

• Performance Testing: Design and execute performance, stress, and endurance tests for embedded systems (e.g., infotainment, control units, IoT devices).
• Automation Scripting: Develop automation scripts for embedded test environments using Python, Shell, or C/C++.
• Test Framework Development: Build and maintain automated performance test frameworks tailored to RTOS/Linux/QNX-based systems.
• Performance Evaluation: Evaluate boot time, response latency, CPU/memory usage, and thermal performance under different conditions.
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Log Analysis: Analyze logs, hardware counters, and system metrics using serial console, CAN tools, and embedded debuggers.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with software developers, hardware teams, and system architects to optimize performance.
• Documentation: Document performance benchmarks, regression results, and insights for cross-functional consumption.
  
  

What You Need To Be Successful

• Performance Testing Experience: 3-6 years of experience in performance testing.
• Technical Skills: Strong technical skills in performance testing tools, methodologies, and analysis.
• Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Shell, or C/C++ for automation scripting.
• RTOS/Linux/QNX Experience: Experience with RTOS/Linux/QNX-based systems.

• Experience with Embedded Systems: Knowledge of embedded systems, infotainment, control units, or IoT devices.
• CI/CD Experience: Familiarity with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex performance data and identify areas for improvement.
