PHP CodeIgniter Developer (Contract – 3 Months)

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced PHP CodeIgniter Developer for a 3-month contract to support ongoing feature development and maintenance of an existing government web application. The ideal candidate will work closely with our technical and administrative teams to implement new features, fix bugs, and ensure stable deployment on GoDaddy-hosted infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the internal team to understand project requirements and deliver solutions.
• Develop, test, and deploy features in an existing PHP CodeIgniter web application.
• Write clean, secure, and efficient code with proper documentation.
• Manage MySQL database operations – queries, optimization, and data migrations.
• Ensure compatibility with existing infrastructure hosted on GoDaddy.
• Debug and fix application issues as they arise.
• Deliver milestones on time within the 3-month project window.

Required Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with PHP (CodeIgniter Framework).
• Good knowledge of MySQL – schema design, query optimization, and database administration.
• Experience in GoDaddy hosting environments – file management, DNS, cPanel, backups, etc.
• Ability to work with and extend existing codebases.
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working with government projects or public sector applications.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Ability to work independently and manage timelines.

• Duration: 3 Months
• Start Date: Immediate
• Compensation:20,000/-
• Work Mode: Hybrid preferred
