Job Title: PHP Developer – CodeIgniter Framework
Location: Infopark, Cherthala

Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled PHP Developer with experience in the CodeIgniter framework to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing web applications, writing clean, efficient code, and solving complex problems. This position involves working on both new and existing projects while collaborating with front-end developers and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using PHP and CodeIgniter framework.
• Write clean, well-designed/ structured and optimized code.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards.
• Maintain and update existing applications based on client feedback.
• Write technical documentation for internal and external use.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging web development technologies and best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a PHP Developer with strong knowledge of CodeIgniter.
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience with MySQL databases and writing efficient queries.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web services integration.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should be able to work under minimum supervision.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with MVC architecture and design patterns.
• Familiarity with other PHP frameworks (e.g., Laravel) is a plus.
• Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks like React or Angular is an added advantage.
• Experience with cloud platforms and deployment is a plus.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in PHP development, with at least 2 years of experience in CodeIgniter.
