PHP Developer Intern

Overview

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic PHP Developer Intern to join our development team. This internship will provide you with hands-on experience in building and maintaining web applications using PHP and related technologies. You will work closely with our senior developers to design, develop, and deploy scalable web solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the development and maintenance of web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code.
• Debug and test existing applications to identify and fix bugs.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and UI/UX designers to integrate user-facing elements.
• Participate in code reviews and learn development best practices.
• Research and learn new technologies and frameworks as needed.
• Contribute to team meetings and development discussions.

Requirements:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and web development fundamentals.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative.

Preferred Skills (Optional):

• Experience with PHP frameworks like Laravel or CodeIgniter.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic knowledge of MVC architecture.
