Software Engineer-PHP Laravel

Job Description:

As a PHP Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using the Laravel PHP framework. You will work closely with our team to understand project requirements, implement solutions, and ensure the scalability and performance of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

Laravel Development:

Design and implement robust, scalable, and maintainable PHP Laravel code.

Collaborate with the team to define project specifications and develop features that meet user requirements.

Database Design and Optimization:

Design and maintain efficient database structures.

Write optimized and performant SQL queries to interact with databases.

API Development:

Develop and maintain RESTful APIs to facilitate seamless communication between the front-end and back-end systems.

Integrate third-party APIs as needed.

Code Quality and Testing:

Ensure the quality of the code through unit testing and code reviews.

Identify and fix bugs and performance bottlenecks.

Collaboration:

Work closely with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth project delivery.

Documentation:

Document code, APIs, and technical processes to facilitate better understanding and maintainability.

Adaptation to New Technologies:

Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in PHP and Laravel development.

Proactively contribute ideas to improve existing systems and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

3-6 yrs Proven experience as a PHP Developer with a focus on Laravel framework.

Strong understanding of PHP and object-oriented programming principles.

Experience with MySQL or other relational databases.

Proficient in writing efficient and optimized SQL queries.

Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).

Good understanding of version control systems, such as Git.

Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Laravel certification is a plus.

Experience with front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.

Knowledge of containerization (Docker) and related technologies.

Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

BFSI Domain / Fintech experience preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹900,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
