PHP Laravel Developer

Overview

*Job Description:*

We are looking for a skilled *Laravel Developer* to join our dynamic development team. As a Laravel Developer, you will be responsible for developing web applications, designing and implementing high-performance server-side logic, and ensuring robust and efficient functionality using the Laravel PHP framework.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with the Laravel framework, a solid understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP), and a passion for writing clean, maintainable code.

*Responsibilities:*

- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel PHP framework.

- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.

- Design and implement RESTful APIs for third-party integrations.

- Write reusable, testable, and efficient code.

- Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot existing Laravel applications.

- Implement security and data protection practices.

- Manage and maintain databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.

- Work in an Agile environment, participating in sprint planning and stand-up meetings.

- Keep up to date with industry best practices and emerging technologies.

- Payment gateway Integrations

*Requirements:*

- Proven experience as a *Laravel Developer* or similar role with a strong portfolio.

- Solid experience in PHP, particularly with the *Laravel framework*.

- Familiarity with database design and management (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).

- Knowledge of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Vue.js or React (optional but preferred).

- Experience with version control systems such as *Git*.

- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP).

- Experience with RESTful API development and integration.

- Knowledge of web security practices.

- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and communicate effectively.

- Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.\

*Preferred Qualifications:*

- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS or DigitalOcean.

- Experience with Docker and containerization.

- Understanding of testing methodologies, including PHPUnit.

- Experience with JavaScript frameworks (Vue.js, React) is a plus.
