Job Title: PHP Backend Developer

IWEBCODE is seeking a skilled PHP/ WP Backend Web Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enhancing the server-side logic of our web applications. If you have a strong background in PHP, MySQL, and API development, and a passion for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions, we'd love to hear from you

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems using PHP, MySQL, and other relevant technologies.
• Customize and extend WordPress functionality through the creation of custom themes and plugins.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate backend functionality with user-facing elements.
• Optimize WordPress performance and scalability through code optimization and caching techniques.
• Ensure high levels of security and data protection within backend systems.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues across backend systems, plugins, and integrations.
• Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in backend development and the WordPress ecosystem.
• Work closely with project managers and other team members to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven 1-2 years of experience as a PHP Backend Developer, focusing on WordPress development.
• Strong proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, and related technologies.
• Extensive experience with WordPress architecture, themes, and plugins.
• Experience in creating custom WordPress plugins and extending existing functionalities.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services with WordPress.
• Solid understanding of front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other developers and stakeholders.
• Good communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
