What Youll Do
- Design and develop optimized MySQL queries and stored procedures to handle massive datasets (think 100+ million records).
- Build and maintain ETL workflows using AWS Glue and PySpark to ensure smooth data migrations and transformations.
- Write shell scripts to automate processes and keep our data pipelines humming.
- Track and improve database performance by monitoring KPIs and metrics, ensuring our systems run like a well-oiled machine.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, sharing ideas and solutions in a supportive, open environment.
- 5-8 years of hands-on experience with MySQL, writing complex SQL queries and procedures.
- Proven skills in optimizing queries for large-scale datasets.
- Experience with AWS Glue, PySpark, and ETL processes bonus points for data migration expertise.
- Comfort with shell scripting and automating workflows.
- Strong communication skills and a knack for teamwork, ready to brainstorm and solve problems together.
