Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled and passionate PHP Yii Developer to join our team on a contract basis.
Responsibilities
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Yii Framework
- Design and implement database schemas (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Write clean, reusable, and efficient PHP code following Yii best practices
- Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party services
- Optimize application performance and ensure security best practices
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate UI/UX designs
Requirements
- 3+ years of PHP development experience, with at least 2 years in Yii Framework
- Strong knowledge of Yii 1.x or Yii 2.x (MVC, ActiveRecord, Gii, etc.)
- Proficiency in MySQL/PostgreSQL and database optimization
- Experience with RESTful APIs, AJAX, jQuery, and JavaScript
- Understanding of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap)
- Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines is a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
