Playwright QA Engineer

Overview

We're looking for a QA Engineer who can think like a user, test like a pro, and automate like an engineer. You'll work closely with our product and engineering teams to build test strategies, squash bugs, and ship flawless features. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Create reusable and modular test components to maximize efficiency and maintainability.
• Collaborate with the QA team to identify and analyze test scenarios based on user stories and requirements.
• Participate in the review of user stories to ensure testability.
• Develop comprehensive test cases for both new and existing features.
• Ensure test cases cover functional, performance, and security aspects of the application.
• Execute automated test suites and analyze results.
• Report and document defects, providing detailed information for effective troubleshooting.
• Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipeline.
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure automated tests are executed as part of the build process.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in software testing.
• Proficient in JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Experience with Playwright for automation.
• Familiarity with Mocha or other testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Solid grasp of QA fundamentals, SDLC, and Agile/Scrum workflows.
