This job description outlines the role of a Database Developer or PL/SQL Developer, primarily focused on Oracle database technologies (specifically Oracle 10g/11g).

The responsibilities are technical and analytical in nature, with a strong emphasis on data management, performance optimization, and end-to-end software development lifecycle involvement.

Role & Responsibilities

• Design stable, reliable and effective database programs to ensure that data processing production systems meet user needs.
• PL/SQL and SQL Tuning and Optimization of newly developed and existing applications.
• Provide data analysis and validation.
• Leverage Oracle 10g/11g features to their fullest on a large-scale system.
• Identification of performance issues on production and testing systems.
• Interact with internal and external clients to understand requirements, explain issues and prioritize work.
• Involved in all aspects of the software development life cycle and demonstrate abilities to learn both the business processes as well as new and existing pl/sql - Basic knowledge of Oracle database architecture.
• Advanced database development experience (Oracle SQL/PLSQL).
• Knowledge of software development.
• Strong SQL development, SQL analytics and tuning skills.
• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• An ability to understand front-end users requirements and a problem-solving attitude.
• Strong communications skills (both verbal & written).
  
  

Location : Kochi (Work from Office).

Experience : 5-8 years.
