Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide solid technology leadership and direction to a high-performing engineering team
- Design and implement complex, scalable systems and key product features with hands-on involvement
- Collaborate within Agile Scrum teams, contributing to sprint planning, development, and delivery
- Define and maintain a long-term architectural roadmap for existing and future products
- Stay ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends, applying innovative solutions as appropriate
- Establish and promote design patterns, coding standards, and best practices across the team
- Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, developers, and project management teams
- Effectively manage communication across onshore and offshore teams
- Lead and participate in design reviews, test case evaluations, and production readiness assessments
- Collaborate closely with business teams, infrastructure, and deployment partners to ensure seamless delivery
- Comply with the terms and conditions of the employment contract, company policies and procedures, and any and all directives (such as, but not limited to, transfer and/or re-assignment to different work locations, change in teams and/or work shifts, policies in regards to flexibility of work benefits and/or work environment, alternative work arrangements, and other decisions that may arise due to the changing business environment). Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field
- 11+ years of experience across multiple technology layers and enterprise-scale systems
- Solid 7+ years of experience in UI related technologies (ReactJS, Angular, JQuery, Smart Components etc.), must have experience in building UI components for an enterprise
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in front-end technologies (ReactJS, Angular, jQuery, Smart Components)
- 4+ years of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, AKS, Docker, Terraform, etc.)
- 2+ years of experience in multi-tenant cloud applications and microservices architecture
- Proven experience with application development (e.g., J2EE stack, JBoss/Tomcat, SpringBoot, RESTful APIs)
- Deep experience in solution design and architecture, with a focus on scalability, performance, and cost-efficiency
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, SonarQube, New Relic, Splunk)
- Knowledge of common security vulnerabilities and mitigation strategies
- Familiarity with security scanning tools (e.g., HP Fortify, WhiteHat, WebInspect)
- Full-stack development expertise with the ability to implement end-to-end product features that involve Microservices
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform and container orchestration with Kubernetes
- Proven solid communication skills—verbal, written, and interpersonal
