About The Team
This position is for Loan Origination team under Lending Technology. Team would be focusing on developing, maintaining applications responsible for Loan Origination which includes SAAS Products and home grown applications developed using .NET, Vendor Products, Custom Tools etc.

The Principal Software Engineer is a senior technical leader responsible for guiding the design, development, and delivery of our core banking applications. You will serve as the go-to expert for the .NET stack, ensuring our solutions are built on a foundation of sound architectural principles. Your role is critical in translating complex business needs into robust, scalable, and secure software. By leading technical design sessions, tackling the most challenging coding tasks, and championing best practices, you will directly contribute to the modernization of our technology and the success of our engineering teams.
Key Deliverables (Duties And Responsibilities)
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
13-15 years of professional software engineering experience, with a focus on building enterprise grade applications.
Significant experience working in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.
Functional Skills (Banking Domain)
Strong understanding of banking or financial services concepts.
Experience developing applications for domains such as Payments, Lending, Treasury, or Risk & Compliance.
Familiarity with the security and regulatory constraints of the financial industry.
Technical Skills (.NET Focus)
Core .NET: Expert-level proficiency in C# and the .NET Framework / .NET Core / .NET 5+. Deep understanding of the CLR, garbage collection, and asynchronous programming (async/await).
Web & API Development: Extensive hands-on experience building robust, secure, and scalable web APIs using ASP.NET Core.
Architecture & Design Patterns: Strong knowledge of software architecture principles, microservices, and common design patterns (e.g., Singleton, Factory, Dependency Injection).
Cloud Technologies: Demonstrable experience with a major cloud platform, preferably Microsoft Azure. Experience with Azure services like App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, and Azure Service Bus is a significant plus.
Database: Strong proficiency in data modeling and database development using Microsoft SQL Server, including writing complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning. Experience with ORMs like Entity Framework Core.
DevOps & Testing: Solid experience with CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins). A strong advocate for unit testing, integration testing, and code quality metrics.
Relationship and Collaboration
This role requires strong interpersonal skills to effectively guide teams and collaborate across functions.
