Privacy & Security Analyst

Your Role: Privacy & Security Analyst

This is a full-time role based in Mumbai. As a Privacy & Security Analyst, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to support privacy compliance, security assessments, and implementation of privacy management tools across client environments.

Note : This is not a SOC, SIEM, or incident response role.

Key Responsibilities

• Support end-to-end privacy and security compliance initiatives aligned with global regulations (DPDP Act, GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.).
• Assist in implementation, configuration, and optimization of privacy tools (CMPs, RoPA tools, DSAR tools, consent management platforms, GRC tools, etc.).
• Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIA/DPIA) and security risk assessments.
• Support development and review of privacy and security documentation — policies, procedures, SOPs, notices, and frameworks.
• Work with clients to operationalize privacy-by-design and security-by-design principles.
• Collaborate with technical and legal teams to map data flows and identify risks.
• Support audits, client reporting, gap assessments, and remediation tracking.
• Stay updated on evolving privacy laws, cybersecurity threats, and best practices.
• Assist in internal process improvements and tool automation initiatives.
  
  

• 2–3 years of hands-on experience in privacy, data protection, and information security.
• Demonstrated experience with privacy tool implementation (any leading privacy/GRC/security platforms).
• Working knowledge of privacy regulations (DPDP Act, GDPR, ISO 27701, etc.) and security frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST).
• Understanding of data lifecycle management, consent management, DSAR handling, and risk assessments.
• Strong documentation, analytical, and stakeholder communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple client engagements in a fast-paced consulting environment.
• Prior experience in consulting or client-facing roles is a plus.
