What You Will Do

• Architect and Develop: Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, high-performance features and systems for our B2B SaaS platform.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Optimize for Growth: Ensure applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and reliability to handle increasing user demands and data loads.
• Mentor and Lead: Guide junior team members through code reviews, pair programming, and technical mentoring to raise the overall bar for engineering excellence.
• Innovate and Iterate: Drive technical innovation by researching and integrating new tools, technologies, and processes to improve development efficiency and product quality.
• Set Standards: Establish and enforce best practices in coding, testing, documentation, and system architecture to build a strong technical foundation.
• Problem-Solve: Take ownership of debugging and resolving complex technical challenges, ensuring smooth and reliable product functionality.
• Contribute Strategically: Play an active role in shaping the product roadmap by providing technical insights and identifying opportunities for innovation and improvement.
  
  

What You Would Bring To The Table

• Deep understanding and proven experience in one or more of the following backend technologies :
• Strong proficiency in Ruby language, Rails framework, and associated ecosystem.
• Experience in building high-performance and concurrent applications using Go.
• Deep understanding and proven experience in the following frontend technologies:
• Expert-level knowledge of core JavaScript concepts and best practices.
• Extensive experience in building complex and scalable user interfaces using React.js and its ecosystem (Redux/Context API, React Router, etc.).
• Deep understanding of software architecture principles (Microservices, Monolithic), system design patterns, and best practices for building resilient and maintainable solutions.
• Proven experience with optimizing performance and scalability for high-traffic, data-intensive applications, including techniques like caching, database optimization, and load balancing.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior developers, conduct thorough and constructive code reviews, and contribute to improving team-wide development practices.
• A strong understanding of the product lifecycle and the ability to balance technical innovation with business goals and user needs.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven knack for debugging complex systems and identifying root causes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with experience working effectively in fast-paced, cross-functional startup teams.
• Solid understanding of various testing methodologies and experience writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Proficient with Git and common Git workflows.
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and/or NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful or GraphQL APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) and deployment processes.
