Product Test Engineer

The Lab Engineer, In this role you will be reporting to Lab manager and will be responsible for supporting the execution of routine tests on different devices in accordance with standardized testing methodologies and requirements. Documenting test results and update internal process/procedure documents and instructions. The individual will be responsible in maintaining Lab equipment, work with Design engineers to help build Test fixtures/assemblies and assisting with overall Lab logistics.

Phillips-MediSize, a Molex company, is looking for a Lab technician having responsibility in setting up and executing all activities testing as per the procedures related to Design Verification of the medical devices for Global Innovation Development in Bangalore, India. What You Will Do

• Participating as a team member and supports execution of routine tests for all types of products according to test plans in cooperation with Senior Engineer & other resources.
• Taking the test results and documents results for review. Updating the required technical/support documents appropriately according to results. Updating internal process/procedure documents and instructions
• Supporting the maintenance activities related to the equipment and tools used by the laboratory.
• Compiling reports on findings and testing data gathered.
• Maintaining lab and testing equipment regularly.
• Recommending technical and procedural additions to test processes.
• Follow instructions clearly from Design engineers during Test execution.
• Plan Lab logistics and maintain the material supply for testing requirements.
• Ensure good documentation and Good Manufacturing practices are followed in the documentation Process.
• Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective / Preventive action as needed.

You have a strong in Testing and lab maintaining profile and are result oriented. At the same time, you are open for input from colleagues, have a team-oriented mentality and can get the best out of your team. From previous experience, you know how to uphold the required level of quality in a fast-paced environment. Being accustomed to complex situations and processes, you work and think independently and are self-motivated. You have a flexible approach and in critical situations you walk the extra mile and show the way.

Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical
• Minimum 3-6 years of experience in lab testing
• ISO17025 documentation awareness
• Testing experience with Internal audits
• Proficiency in testing procedures and protocols.
• Report writing and document analysis skills.
• Ability to work with data and numbers.
• Problem-solving skills and decisive knowledge of appropriate testing methods.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Comfortable with industry-specific testing equipment and software.
• Knowledge of testing equipment maintenance and storage procedures.
