Job Summary

Advantal Technologies is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Python Backend Developer who is passionate about technology and writing great code. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of web development and be comfortable with both backend and frontend development. The developer should be able to work independently and as part of a team to develop, test, deploy, and maintain web applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain Python code for backend services

• Write efficient, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Collaborate with other developers to ensure the quality and consistency of code

• Design and implement APIs for web applications

• Design and implement databases and data storage solutions

• Utilize code versioning tools for version control

• Troubleshoot and debug backend services

• Monitor performance of backend services and recommend improvements

• Analyze and resolve technical issues

• Participate in code reviews

• Stay up to date with best practices and emerging technologies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

• 3+ years of professional experience as a Python Backend Developer

• Proficient in Python and related frameworks (e.g., Django)

• Knowledge of web development (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript)

• Knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL)

• Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git)

• Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work with tight deadlines
