Python Backend Developer

Overview

Python Backend Developer Experience: Min 8 Years - 14 Years Location: Whitefield, Bangalore (Hybrid) We are looking for an experienced Python Backend Developer with strong expertise in building scalable web applications and RESTful APIs using Flask/FastAPI. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in backend development, basic exposure to Microsoft Azure, and a good understanding of web application architecture. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using Python frameworks such as Flask and FastAPI Build scalable, secure, and high-performance backend services Collaborate with frontend developers, DevOps, and product teams to deliver end-to-end solutions Implement business logic, data validation, and API integrations Optimize application performance and ensure high availability Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to system design decisions Write clean, reusable, testable, and well-documented code Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues Required Skills & Qualifications 8 years of experience with min. 5+ years of relevant experience in Python backend/web development Strong experience with Flask and/or FastAPI Solid understanding of REST API design principles Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, etc.) Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (JWT, OAuth, etc.) Familiarity with Git and CI/CD workflows
