Python Developer - NPWAPL

Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Python Developer with a minimum of 1.5 years of hands-on experience in backend development. The ideal candidate will have strong proficiency in Python, practical experience using frameworks such as FastAPI and Flask, and a solid understanding of SQL databases. The role involves designing, developing, and optimizing backend services and RESTful APIs while ensuring high standards of performance, reliability, and maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend applications using Python, FastAPI, and Flask.
• Design, implement, and document RESTful APIs for internal and external use.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
• Write efficient and optimized SQL queries, perform database operations, and contribute to schema design.
• Ensure code quality through best practices, code reviews, and automated testing.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues across development and production environments.
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and tools as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering team.
  
  

• Minimum 1.5 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong knowledge of Python 3.x and hands-on experience with FastAPI and/or Flask.
• Proficient in working with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing complex SQL queries.
• Good understanding of API development principles, authentication mechanisms, and request/response handling.
• Familiarity with version control systems such as Bitbucket.
• Basic understanding of asynchronous programming and web application security best practices.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Basic understanding of Docker, CI/CD pipelines like Jenkins, or cloud services (AWS).
