Blue Planet, a division of Ciena, has a vacancy in our India team for a technical developer and consultant to join the Blue Planet Solution Engineering team. The Solution Engineering team is in part responsible for developing use cases and customization for Customer Trials and Demos in either Blue Planet labs or on Customers' labs across the globe.

In the Blue Planet division. We are building momentum in the automation, inventory and assurance spaces. The Systems Engineering team delivers hands on development and product evaluation to customers from one-day product demos to multi-month proof of concepts.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate development and/or scripting experience with a technical understanding automation and service orchestration and networking technologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop use case automation and customization with BPMN, Python and JAVA to meet the customer's requirements and test evaluation.
• Prepare presentation materials, demos, etc., attend and very often lead customer meetings.
• Leads and builds the solution creation and drives value for Blue Planet.
• Collaborate closely with PLM, Sales, Engineering and Delivery to build the best overall Blue Planet solution for the customer.
• Engage with the customer in providing detailed technical walk-through of the solutions.
• Lead scrum development team to ensure Agile process as followed as part of a mini-delivery project.
