QA Analyst 1

Overview

Responsibilities

· Create and execute test cases and scripts using functional requirements and user stories

· Utilize agile methodology; attend mandatory daily sprint calls, grooming and retrospectives

· Log issues in defect management tool (Jira) and retest

· Work on applications with priority on accuracy over speed

· Continuous learning of the applications to maximize service to clients

· Learn the automation tools in place and begin using them to automate tests at the team lead’s discretion

· Research issues as completely as possible and then provide alternatives for solutions

· Accept feedback from test leads and managers, apply it and work diligently to improve and enhance skill set

· Share knowledge with other team members, and document processes to ensure we have multiple team members able to serve every client

· Consistently delivering excellent performance and being a reliable contributor to the team’s success

Requirements

Experience:

· 1-4 years of QA testing or equivalent education/training in appropriate field

Technical Skills:

· Desired knowledge includes: Atlassian Jira, experience creating defect reports and documenting test results and SQL

· Knowledge of Reflect automation tools is a plus

· Ability to create and document test plans and test cases.

· Strong organizational skills.

· Understanding of the software development lifecycle.

· Knowledge of Windows operating system functionality and MS office.

· Knowledge of QA automation, C#, and SQL would be beneficial.

Education/Certification:

· BS/MS in computer science or equivalent

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
