QA Automation Tester

About the Role

iMark is looking for a skilled QA Automation Engineer with 2+ years of hands-on experience in automation testing. The ideal candidate not only excels in building robust test automation frameworks but also has proven experience in clearing client interviews and communicating effectively in client-facing environments. You should be confident, articulate, and capable of representing the QA function in discussions with global clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test scripts
• Perform functional, regression, API, and integration testing
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality releases
• Participate in requirement analysis and provide QA insights early in the development lifecycle
• Execute test cases, analyze results, and report defects with clear documentation
• Work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint activities
• Actively participate in client calls, demos, and QA discussions
• Represent QA in client interviews and technical evaluations when required

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong experience in QA Automation (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar tools)
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Java, Python, JavaScript, etc.)
• Experience with API testing tools (Postman, Rest Assured, etc.)
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC
• Experience with test management and bug tracking tools (JIRA, TestRail, etc.)

Must-Have Traits

• Proven experience in cracking client interviews and handling technical discussions
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Confidence in interacting directly with clients and stakeholders
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and take ownership

Good to Have

• Experience in performance testing (JMeter, LoadRunner)
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker
• Experience working with distributed/global teams

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
