Position Title: QA Engineer
Location: Bangalore (Work from Office)

We’re on a mission to bring intelligent automation to the world and are on the first step of automation i.e. automating document processing. Our deep learning models convert any type of unstructured data into structured insights. We have implemented our solution for top insurance carriers & brokers in India, also scaling to the US Insurance market, helping them lower costs & reduce time spent on manual data entry.

Key Responsibilities:
● Perform manual testing across various platforms and environments.
● Write detailed test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on product requirements and specifications.
● Execute functional, regression, smoke, sanity, and user acceptance testing (UAT) on different stages of the software development lifecycle.
● Identify, document, and report software defects in a clear, concise, and reproducible manner.
● Work with the development team to ensure that defects are properly understood, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner.
● Collaborate with product owners, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure test cases align with business requirements and product expectations.
● Review and analyze system specifications to create test strategies and plans.
● Ensure consistent testing processes and procedures are followed throughout the development lifecycle.
● Retest resolved defects to ensure they have been fixed and verify fixes do not break existing functionality.
● Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives to provide insights on testing progress and blockers.
● Maintain test environments, tools, and systems to ensure accuracy and efficiency in testing
Skills & Qualifications :
● Proven 1-2 years of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar QA role.
● Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
● Familiarity with test case management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail, Quality Center)
● Experience in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
● Solid understanding of software development life cycles and Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
● Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
● Knowledge of basic programming concepts and the ability to understand code is a plus.
