About This Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented QA Engineer Manual Tester to join our dynamic team at Mumbai/Bangalore.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases based on software requirements.
- Conduct thorough manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and ensure functionality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product features and provide feedback on quality improvements.
- Perform regression testing, usability testing, and acceptance testing.
- Document and track defects using [insert defect tracking tool], communicate findings, and recommend actions to the development team.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, contributing to the continuous improvement of the testing process.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation of test procedures and test cases.
- Assist in maintaining test environments and preparing test data.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and manage release cycles.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software testing and quality assurance.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in manual testing of software applications.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in writing clear and concise test cases and bug reports.
- Experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) and test management tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of web and mobile testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- ISTQB or other relevant certifications.
- Experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
- Familiarity with SQL and experience with database testing.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
