Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual Testing Engineer to evaluate software applications and ensure they meet quality standards before release.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and use cases
• Design, write, and execute test cases, test scenarios, and test scripts
• Perform manual testing including:
• Functional testing
• Smoke testing
• Sanity testing
• Regression testing
• Retesting
• Identify, log, track, and verify defects using defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Work closely with developers and business analysts to clarify issues
• Validate fixes and ensure defects are resolved
• Prepare test execution reports and provide test status updates
• Ensure quality standards are met before production release
• Participate in requirement review and test planning meetings
  
  

• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC
• Knowledge of software testing concepts and methodologies
• Experience in writing clear and effective test cases
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and strong communication skills
  
  

Good to Have

• Knowledge of SQL for basic database validation
• Experience in API testing (Postman – basic level)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology
• Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Selenium/ Playwright) is a plus
  
  

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience)
