QA Engineer- Cypress/Playwright

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated test cases using Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriver.
• Debug and troubleshoot issues in test scripts and application workflows.
• Write clean, maintainable code in JavaScript or TypeScript for test automation.
• Collaborate with developers and QA peers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Contribute to and improve CI/CD pipelines and practices.
• Participate in test strategy discussions and suggest best practices for automation.
• Support mobile automation initiatives and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills.
• Participate in knowledge transfer (KT) activities and ramp up quickly on existing frameworks and tools.
• Adapt to the team's CI/CD tools and technologies; willingness to learn is key.

Skills Required:

• 5 years of experience in automation testing.
• Hands-on experience with Cypress, Playwright, or WebDriver (at least one is mandatory).
• Proficient in TypeScript or JavaScript for scripting automated tests.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and communication skills.
• Exposure to CI/CD processes and tools.
• Experience with cloud-based testing environments is a plus.
• Quick learner and adaptable to new tools and practices.
• Ability to join immediately is preferred.

Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
