Job Overview: As a QA Manual and Automation Tester, you will be responsible for designing and executing tests on software usability. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other team members to understand requirements, create test cases, execute test plans, and report defects. Your role is crucial in ensuring the software is fit for purpose and bug-free before it reaches end users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute detailed manual test scripts.
• Perform manual tests to identify bugs, issues, and defects.
• Conduct API and database testing to ensure data integrity and performance.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts using Selenium and Java.
• Execute automated test cases and analyze test results.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Report and track defects, and work with developers to identify root causes and resolve issues.
• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings.

Required Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of experience as a QA Tester.
• Strong manual testing skills.
• Experience in API testing (Postman, SoapUI) and database testing (SQL).
• Proficiency in Selenium and Java for automation testing.
• Experience in mobile app testing across Android, iOS, and web platforms.
• Knowledge of the software testing life cycle and bug life cycle.
• Ability to create and execute test designs and test cases from requirements.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in web automation test tools like TestNG, Cucumber.
• Experience in API automation using Rest-Assured.
• Familiarity with mobile automation using Appium (Android and iOS).
• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Extent Report, TestNG Report, Allure Report, Cucumber Report.
• Experience with build management tools like Maven and Gradle.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Azure Pipelines, AWS CodePipeline, Bamboo, CircleCI, Octopus Deploy.
• Knowledge of test automation frameworks (BDD, TDD, Data-driven, Keyword-driven, Hybrid).
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with source code management tools like GITHUB, GITLAB, Bitbucket.
• Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, LamdaTest, Sauce Labs) is a plus.
• ISTQB or any relevant certification.
