QA Engineer

Overview

Job Description:

We are looking for a QA Engineer with around 3 years of experience in software testing, who is well-versed in testing methodologies and agile development practices. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in web front-end automation and API testing to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications.
• Perform manual and automated testing for web and mobile web front-end applications to ensure UI/UX consistency
• Conduct API testing using tools like Postman, Rest Assured, or similar frameworks.
• Collaborate with developers, and other stakeholders to define test strategies and acceptance criteria.
• Identify, report, and track bugs.
• Ensure test coverage by designing and executing functional, regression, and exploratory tests.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, participate in planning, and provide feedback on feature development.
• Contribute to test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and automation reports.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing, including manual and automation testing.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, SDLC, and Agile development.
• Experience in web automation testing using Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
• Hands-on experience with API testing tools like Postman, Rest Assured
• Good knowledge of programming/scripting languages (Java, JavaScript) for test automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of automation tests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

• Experience with performance testing using JMeter or similar tools.
• Experience working with version control systems (Git, Bitbucket).
