About The Team
The ILS product team is a dynamic group comprised of multiple agile teams, all dedicated on keeping ILS the market leader in leasing finance. As a QA Engineer for the team, you will be responsible for planning and executing quality and testing activities to determine suitability of functionality for release to our customers. You will be responsible for Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs to ensure product quality and performance.by adhering to established protocols and best practices related to our quality practice.
About the Position As a QA Engineer for the ILS product team, you will be responsible for planning and executing quality and testing activities as part of product team to determine suitability of functionality for release to our customers. You will be responsible for Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs to ensure product quality and performance. You will also act as a Kanban leader of your team.
Role and Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute automated tests for APIs to ensure product quality and performance.
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and translate them into test cases.
Utilize API test automation tools, with a strong preference for Postman, to create and maintain test scripts.
Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.
Identify, document, and track bugs using appropriate tools.
Analyze test results, identify trends, and provide insights to improve the testing process.
Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to improve code quality.
Continuously improve test automation frameworks and processes.
Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices in API testing and automation.
Take up shared responsiblity as a Kanban leader on the agile team.
About You
As an experienced QA engineer, we would expect you to have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position.

About You
As an experienced QA engineer, we would expect you to have a minimum of 4 years’ experience in a similar position.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in API testing and automation tools, with a strong preference for Postman.
- Experience with other API testing tools such as SoapUI, RestAssured, or similar.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, Git, or similar.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Attention to detail and a passion for quality.
- Kanban - Experience as team member and ability to take up Kanban Leader responsibility.
- Strong Communication: Ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback to team members and stakeholders.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
