QA Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled QA Engineer with 2- 3 years of experience to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a keen eye for detail.

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products through thorough testing and analysis. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify issues, implement solutions, and maintain high standards of quality throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality of software products.
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and performance testing as needed.
• Collaborate with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
• Utilize automated testing tools and frameworks to streamline testing processes and improve efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis for defects and provide detailed reports to stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Continuously improve QA processes and procedures to enhance overall product quality.
• Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging technologies in quality assurance and testing.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Quality Assurance, preferably in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and techniques.
• Proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
• Experience with automated testing tools/frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, or similar.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
• Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, CSTE, or CSQA are a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
