QA Engineer

Overview

Hello everyone,

Webastral Infosystems is urgently hiring for QA Specialist (Manual Testing)

Key Responsibilities:

Execute manual test cases for web applications across various browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari) and operating systems (Windows, Mac, Linux).

Perform testing on native and hybrid mobile apps on Android and iOS devices.

Identify, record, and track bugs and issues using bug tracking tools.

Collaborate with developers, designers, and product managers to understand requirements and create comprehensive test scenarios.

Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility testing.

Validate fixed bugs and regression testing.

Prepare detailed test reports and documentation.

Participate in daily stand-ups and agile development cycles.

Strong knowledge of testing across browsers, OS platforms, and mobile environments.

Experience testing native and hybrid mobile apps on Android and iOS.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly document and report issues.

Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and bug life cycle.

Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, TestRail).

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Experience with test case creation, execution, and defect reporting.

Preferred Skills:

Basic understanding of automation testing tools (optional but a plus).

Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, Python) is an advantage.

Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
