Job Title: QA Engineer – Chassis Welding Robot Line
Location: Varale
Department: Quality Assurance
Reports To: QA Manager / Plant Head
Experience: 2–4 Years (Automotive / Welding Automation preferred)
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled QA Engineer to oversee and ensure quality compliance in the Chassis Welding Robot Line. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in robotic welding processes, automotive chassis systems, and quality control systems aligned with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and inspect the robotic chassis welding line to ensure product quality meets design and safety standards.
Conduct process audits and implement quality improvement initiatives.
Analyze welding defects (e.g., porosity, undercut, spatter) and lead root cause analysis and corrective actions (RCA/CA).
Ensure adherence to SOPs, welding parameters, and quality standards (ISO/TS/IATF).
Collaborate with production, maintenance, and engineering teams for process optimization.
Maintain proper documentation of inspection reports, quality checks, and test results.
Work with NDT, destructive testing, and other quality evaluation tools.
Conduct supplier audits (if applicable) and support in PPAP/APQP documentation.
Train operators and quality inspectors on quality standards and practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor’s/Diploma in Mechanical, Automobile, or Production Engineering.
In-depth knowledge of robotic welding systems (e.g., Fanuc, ABB, KUKA).
Hands-on experience with chassis welding (preferably in OEM or Tier-1 automotive suppliers).
Familiarity with quality tools: 7QC, FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, MSA.
Good understanding of GD&T and engineering drawings.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Proficient in MS Office and quality management software.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
