Role Overview
- Title: Software QA BA Engineer (Contract)
- Openings: 4 positions (originally 5; 1 moved to Scrum Master under a different manager)
- Project: StudyHub
- Reporting To: Nidhya R (Associate Director, Test Lead)
- Core Skills:
- 2-3 years of experience in automation testing
- Hands-on with Selenium or similar tools
- Scripting in Java or Python
- Good-to-Have:
- API testing
- Mobile testing
- SQL knowledge (not mandatory)
- Agile methodology, Jira
- BDD frameworks (currently used in the project)
- Cucumber/TestNG (optional)
- Location: Bangalore or Kochi
- Model: Hybrid - 2 days/month in office (mandatory)
- Interview: 2 rounds (Technical + Managerial), virtual with camera on
- Contract Duration: 6 months (until Jan 31, 2026); extension depends on next year's roadmap
- Shift: No fixed shift; flexible login (e.g., 10:30-11 AM start is acceptable)
- Evening Calls: Grooming sessions may occur post-7 PM due to collaboration with US/Canada-based stakeholders
- Team Location: Developers in India; product owners and delivery leads are global
