QA Engineer

Role description

Design and execute test cases for end-to-end onboarding workflows including UI, backend, and API components.

• Perform functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing on web-based and service-based applications.

• Develop automated regression suites using tools like Selenium, Cypress, or similar frameworks.

• Test REST APIs using tools such as Postman, ReadyAPI, or Swagger-based test harnesses.

• Validate third-party service integrations (IDV, address prefill, credit bureaus, etc.).

• Document defects, support triage sessions, and ensure timely resolution in collaboration with developers.

• Work closely with Product Owners and Scrum Master to ensure alignment on test coverage and sprint deliverables.

• Maintain test plans and traceability matrices for audit and compliance purposes.

Skills

• 
  4+ years of QA experience with exposure to both manual and automated testing.

• Strong experience with web testing (HTML/CSS/JS), REST API validation, and backend data validation.

• Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, or TestNG.

• Familiarity with SQL and ability to validate backend data against business flows.

• Hands-on experience with Postman, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, or equivalent CI/CD toolchains.

• Understanding of BFS domain-specific requirements (KYC, onboarding flows, compliance needs).
