About the Role

We are looking for an experienced QA Engineer to join our Agile delivery squads. In this role, you will act as a Quality Engineer (QE) within a Scrum team, ensuring the highest level of product quality across deliverables. You will own quality assessments, automate complex test cases, collaborate with developers and product owners, and contribute to delivering robust, high-performing software solutions that serve millions of banking customers daily.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a QE within a delivery squad following Scrum and Agile practices.
  
• Own quality assessments of deliverables/user stories within and across squads.
  
• Automate complex user stories during sprints and maintain a scalable Automation Test Suite.
  
• Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for defects with an SDET mindset.
  
• Prepare and maintain essential test documentation such as RTM, Test Plan, Test Strategy, and Test Cases.
  
• Test complex scenarios across UI and API layers to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  
• Collaborate with developers during code reviews and provide quality insights.
  
• Drive high software quality for mission-critical banking services.
  
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement quality engineering initiatives.
  

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  
• 4+ years of Quality Engineering experience with a strong software testing mindset.
  
• Proficiency in Java programming for test automation.
  
• Strong knowledge of automation tools and frameworks, including:
  
• UI Automation: Selenium, Cucumber, Page Object Design Pattern, Page Factory, TestNG.
  
• API/Backend Automation: Rest Assured, JUnit, Mockito, Spring Boot, Cucumber.
  
• Hands-on experience with testing across different SDLC phases and CI/CD pipelines.
  
• Expertise in preparing and maintaining test documentation (RTM, Test Plan, Test Strategy, etc.).
  
• Ability to identify and implement opportunities to improve Quality Engineering practices.
  

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  
• Knowledge of performance testing and security testing practices.
  
• Familiarity with DevOps tools like Jenkins, Git, or Docker.
