QA Engineer

Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Manual QA Engineer with 1+ year of experience to join our
QA team. You’ll work closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure our
applications are high-quality, reliable, and user-friendly.
Basic knowledge of automation testing is a plus, but not mandatory.

Responsibilities
● Understand product requirements and create test scenarios and test cases
● Perform manual testing (Functional, Regression, Smoke, Sanity, Integration)
● Identify, report, and track bugs using bug tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
● Re-test fixes and verify bug resolutions
● Work closely with developers and product team to clarify issues
● Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and QA discussions
● Help improve test documentation and QA processes
● (Optional) Assist in writing or maintaining basic automation test scripts

Requirements
● 1+ year of experience in Manual Testing
● Good understanding of SDLC and STLC
● Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test reports
● Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.)
● Basic knowledge of API testing is a plus
● Good analytical and problem-solving skills
● Strong attention to detail and communication skills
● Ability to work well in a team environment

Nice to Have (Optional)
● Basic knowledge of automation testing tools (Cypress / Selenium / Playwright, etc.)
● Basic understanding of JavaScript / Java / Python (any one is fine)
● Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
● Basic knowledge of SQL or database testing
