Overview
Job DescriptionMission: The QA Engineer will help ensure quality assurance process by developing and executing test plans, identifying defects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. This person will also be responsible for contributing to setting up QA best practices and managing the full testing life cycle.
Profile: You are a well-rounded QA professional with 2+ years of experience in Quality Assurance, and in testing of various types of software. You have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, an eye for detail and the drive to deliver on time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and QA teams to understand software requirements.
- Design, implement, and execute test cases and test scripts.
- Conduct functional, regression, and performance testing.
- Document and track defects using a bug tracking system.
- Assist in the creation and maintenance of test documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and provide feedback on testability.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g. Java, Python) and testing tools (e.g., Selenium).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with automated testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
