QA Engineer – Automation

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test cases using Selenium and Python (or equivalent tools like Cypress, Playwright)
• Integrate and maintain API tests as part of the automation suite
• Build and scale robust automation frameworks for maintainability and efficiency
• Collaborate with Product, development and QA teams to understand features and define test coverage
• Troubleshoot test failures and contribute to debugging across hardware and software layers

• Contribute to CI/CD workflows by integrating automated tests into pipelines
• Document test logic, framework components, and test results
  
  

Requirement

• 2–5 years of experience in automation testing using Selenium and Python
• Experience with other automation tools like Cypress or Playwright is also acceptable
• Hands-on experience with API testing as part of test automation
• Experience designing and implementing automated test frameworks
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Bitbucket and Git
• Understanding of QA processes and Agile testing methodologies
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience with PyTest for test script
• Exposure to embedded systems or hardware-software integration testing
• Experience integrating automation tests into CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Basic understanding of Linux commands and system-level debugging
