QA Engineer (Automation)

Role and Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases and test scripts.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and exploratory testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Identify, record, document, and track bugs thoroughly.
• Maintain and enhance existing automated test frameworks.
• Perform root cause analysis for issues and assist in resolving defects.
• Ensure the product meets the highest quality standards before release.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience in software QA (manual and automation).
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and testing lifecycle (STLC).
• Experience in writing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
• Experience with manual testing tools like TestRail, JIRA, or similar.
• Working knowledge of automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, TestComplete, Postman, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of Python scripting for automation tasks or test script development.
• Ability to write and maintain test scripts and automate repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Understanding of API testing and backend validation is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication, and documentation skills.
