As our new Quality Assurance Engineer, your role is to ensure the reliability, accuracy, and performance of AI/ML models, data pipelines, and intelligent systems. In this role, you will combine traditional QA practices with the unique demands of AI/ML systems, including data validation, model behavior verification, and integration testing in cloud-native environments. The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in testing, a collaborative mindset, and a proactive approach to addressing edge cases and client-specific requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Design and implement unit, integration, functional, regression, and load tests for AI/ML applications and services
- Develop and maintain automated testing pipelines, including data validation, API testing, and model evaluation
- Conduct manual and exploratory testing of AI/ML models to validate performance, fairness, accuracy, and robustness
- Validate ML models and inference pipelines across environments (dev/staging/prod) on Azure/AWS and perform data integrity checks, statistical validation, and model output analysis against KPIs
- Test MLOps workflows, collaborate with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and DevOps teams, and prepare QA reports, risk assessments, and documentation while identifying and logging defects
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 3+ years of experience in QA roles, including 2+ years working with data-driven or AI/ML projects
- Exposure to tools and concepts in MLOps, data versioning, and cloud-native development
- You have strong coordination and communication skills with experience working across technical and non-technical teams
- You have the proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
- You are proactive, structured, and detail-oriented with a bias for action and ownership
