Job description - QA Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Expertise in writing automated tests for JavaScript, Angular, Node.js applications & Mobile Applications.
• Good knowledge of SDLC, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and different testing methodologies
• Good knowledge of Test Case preparation, review & execution, Defects review, and management, Black Box Testing
• Well-versed with Usability, GUI, Functional, System, Regression, and Smoke/Sanity testing
• Basic knowledge of any programming language (JAVA/.NET)
• Basic knowledge of writing and executing SQLs
• Excellent communication and Comprehension skills
• Testing experience on web and mobile applications is preferred.
• Deep understanding of automated UI testing using tools like selenium and protractor.
• Expertise in web application performance and load testing using JMeter.
• Expertise in building management systems and automated deployment (e.g. Jenkin, CircleCI).
• Presentation and written communication skills are essential.
• Work with engineers to drive improvements in code quality via manual and automated testing
• Develop test plans, testing resource requirements, and scheduling of testing activity
• Experience with Agile, other rapid application development methods, CI/ CD.

Qualification & Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
• Experience in project management and QA methodology
• Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors
• Excellent communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
• Strong organizational skills
• BSc/BA/B.Tech/BCA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
