About The Role

We are looking for a QA Automation Engineer III with a proven track record in automation testing and quality engineering. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright and will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, reliable, and scalable software solutions.

In this role, you will not only contribute technically but also mentor QA engineers, influence testing strategies, and play a key role in shaping our automation frameworks and processes.

As a Cloud Engineer III You Will

• Lead the QA automation strategy, planning, and execution for complex software projects.
• Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define acceptance criteria and ensure test coverage.
• Perform code reviews for automation scripts to maintain high-quality standards.
• Drive continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) testing practices.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies (Scrum, Kanban) and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Ensure timely identification, documentation, and resolution of defects.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 5-7 years of professional experience in software testing, with a strong focus on automation
• Hands-on experience with TypeScript, Node.js, and Playwright (mandatory).
• In depth knowledge of automation testing, hands on experience on test strategy & plan (coding/scripting)
• A high-quality bar; automation testing, code reviews, test automation tools, continuous integration & deployment, and a preference for agile methods.
• Java, Selenium - nice to have.
• Proven experience in leading QA efforts for complex, large-scale software systems.
• Strong knowledge of test automation tools and best practices.
• Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Familiarity with continuous integration & deployment pipelines
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
