QA Engineer Intern (Manual & Automation)

Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy QA Engineer Intern to join our engineering team.

Unlike a typical "shadowing" internship, you will be integrated into our sprint cycles from day one.

You’ll help us ensure our software is robust, scalable, and bug-free by leveraging your existing

knowledge of testing life cycles and automation frameworks.

What You’ll Bring (Prerequisites)

• Foundational QA Knowledge: A strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle
  
  

(STLC) and bug reporting workflows.

• Automation Familiarity: Hands-on experience or academic projects involving automation
  
  

tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or Appium).

• Scripting Skills: Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java, or
  
  

JavaScript).

• Analytical Mindset: An obsession with "breaking" things to make them better and the ability
  
  

to think through edge cases.

• Technical Literacy: Basic understanding of API testing (Postman) and Version Control (Git).
  
  

• Collaborate with developers to understand feature requirements and create comprehensive
  
  

test plans.

• Execute manual regression tests for new releases.
• Write, maintain, and execute automated test scripts to increase our test coverage.
• Identify, log, and track defects in [Jira/Trello/GitHub].
• Participate in daily stand-ups and provide feedback on UI/UX from a quality perspective.
