Manual Software Tester
Job Summary:
As a Manual Software Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our software applications. You will work closely with the development team to understand product requirements, design test cases, and identify and report bugs in the software to ensure we deliver errorfree products to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test Planning & Execution:
- Understand product requirements and features. Develop and execute test cases, scenarios based on functional and non
- functional requirements.
- Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing.
- Identify, document, and report bugs and issues clearly with reproduction steps and screenshots.
- Bug Reporting & Tracking:
- Create detailed bug reports in the company’s bug tracking tool (e.g., JIRA).
- Follow up on reported issues and track their resolution status.
- Work closely with the development team to reproduce issues and verify bug fixes.
- Collaboration & Communication:
- Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other QA team members to understand requirements and resolve defects. Participate in daily stand
- up meetings, sprint reviews, and testing discussions.
- Communicate testing progress, defects, and results to relevant stakeholders.
- Test Documentation:
- Maintain detailed records of test cases, test results, and bugs.
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for each software release.
- Assist in maintaining and improving the QA process, tools, and techniques.
- Learning & Development:
- Stay updated with the latest trends in manual testing practices, tools, and technologies. Continuously improve manual testing skills through training and hands
- on experience.
