QA Engineer (Manual + Automation)

About the Role

We’re looking for a QA Engineer (Manual & Automation) who is passionate about quality and reliability. You’ll play a key role in ensuring our products meet high standards through a combination of hands-on manual testing and test automation. This role is ideal for someone with 2+ years of experience who wants to deepen their automation skills while working closely with product and engineering teams.

What You’ll Do

🔹 Review product requirements, user stories, and technical documentation to identify test scenarios early
🔹 Design, create, maintain, and execute manual test cases, test plans, and test scenarios
🔹 Perform functional, regression, integration, UI, and sanity testing
🔹 Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using tools like JIRA / Trello
🔹 Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and designers to ensure timely issue resolution
🔹 Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications
🔹 Participate in test automation framework improvements and test coverage enhancement
🔹 Ensure product quality and stability before every release

What You’ll Bring

✔️ 2+ years of experience in QA testing (manual + automation)
✔️ Strong understanding of STLC and SDLC
✔️ Hands-on experience writing and executing manual test cases
✔️ Experience with bug-tracking and test management tools (JIRA, Bugzilla, Trello, etc.)
✔️ Exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or similar
✔️ Basic programming/scripting knowledge (Java / JavaScript / Python preferred)
✔️ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
✔️ Good communication skills and ability to work in a cross-functional team

Nice to Have

✨ Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments
✨ Knowledge of API testing (Postman, REST Assured, etc.)
✨ Basic SQL knowledge for data validation
✨ Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)
✨ Exposure to performance or security testing
