About the job:

We are looking for a QA Engineer who has strong manual testing skills and basic knowledge of automation. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, passionate about quality, and able to collaborate with developers, product teams, and automation engineers.

Key responsibilities:

1. Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications.
2. Create, review, and update test cases, test scenarios, and test data.
3. Execute functional, regression, UI, smoke, and integration testing.
4. Log defects with complete details and track them until closure.
5. Work with the development team to reproduce issues and verify fixes.
6. Run and maintain basic automation test scripts (Playwright/Selenium preferred).
7. Participate in sprint activities and ensure quality deliverables.
8. Review requirements and raise clear questions or gaps.
9. Contribute to improving QA processes and test coverage.

Other Requirements:

Required skills:

1. Strong understanding of SDLC & STLC.

2. Good knowledge of manual testing concepts.

3. Basic experience in any automation tool (Playwright / Selenium / Cypress).

4. Ability to write simple automated scripts (JavaScript/Java/Python).

5. Experience with tools like Jira, TestRail, Postman, etc.

6. Understanding of API testing (basic request/response validation).

7. Good communication and problem-solving skills.

8. Attention to detail and ability to work independently.

1. Basic knowledge of CI/CD

2. Exposure to Git/GitHub

3. Knowledge of SQL queries

4. Experience with any performance testing tool (optional)

6. B.E/B.Tech/BCA/MCA or equivalent degree.
