QA Engineer / Product Tester

Overview

HeyAI Technologies is looking for a QA Engineer / Product Tester in Hyderabad to help us validate the product before broader marketing and customer rollout. This role is focused on testing real product functionality end to end, finding issues early, and helping the team improve quality before launch.

Responsibilities:

• Test HeyAI product workflows across web and user-facing features before release.
• Create, execute, and maintain functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory test cases.
• Verify AI-driven product behavior, edge cases, prompts, user flows, data handling, and response quality from a QA perspective.
• Reproduce, document, prioritize, and track bugs with clear steps, screenshots, logs, and expected vs actual results.
• Work closely with product and engineering to validate fixes and prevent regressions.
• Provide structured product feedback on usability, reliability, and launch readiness.
• Support release sign-off by testing critical paths before marketing campaigns or customer demos.

Requirements:

• 4-5 years of hands-on QA experience, preferably testing SaaS, AI, web, or product-led software.
• Strong functional, regression, exploratory, and integration testing skills.
• Experience writing clear test cases, bug reports, acceptance checks, and release notes.
• Familiarity with browser dev tools, API testing tools such as Postman, and issue tracking tools.
• Basic understanding of automation testing is a plus, but this role is primarily product and functionality focused.
• Must be based in Hyderabad, Telangana, India and available for an in-office role.

Compensation:

• Up to INR 6,00,000 annual CTC, equivalent to INR 50,000 per month.
